South African High Court Order on assisted suicide overruled.

South Africa’s Supreme Court has upheld a Government Appeal against a 2015 High Court Order allowing assisted suicide.

The Supreme Court of South Africa has upheld an Appeal by the Government of that country against an Order of the High Court in April 2015 which would have allowed a medical practitioner to provide lethal drugs to a specified applicant. The text of the Judgment can be read here.
