“No decision about me without me”.

Professor Finlay urges GPs to participate in the RCGP’s consultation on ‘assisted dying’.

In an article in the British Journal of General Practice, Professor Ilora Finlay, a former GP, a consultant in palliative medicine and a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), writes in response to the College’s decision to hold a consultation on ‘assisted dying’, which closes on 9 October. In her article she cautions against the College changing its stance and urges “all GPs, whatever their view of this controversial issue, to make their views known to the College”.
