View publication PDF

'Assisted dying' is a complex subject, transcending many fields of expertise including the law, medicine, ethics and society. Sadly, it is all too often discussed in simplistic and one-dimensional terms.

He draws no conclusions: as he says at the outset of his article, his aim is "to provide the information necessary for intelligent engagement in the debate".
